The purpose of the Faith Committee is
to encourage and nurture the formation and expression of character in its
respective communities. The committee supports and enables the vision and
mission of the Character Council of Hamburg from its unique perspective of
faith.
Highlights
- Community uplifted character trait discussed
according to individual tenets of faith in religious instruction classes,
bible studies, sermons. etc.
- Character traits promoted on church bulletin boards, in Sunday bulletins and
newsletters.
- Producing and distributing to all Hamburg houses of worship "Virtue
According to Scripture", a short essay utilizing scripture to illustrate
and teach the community-embraced virtue. Authorship rotates among the
multi-denominational Faith Committee members.
