The purpose of the Government Committee is to
inspire character initiatives and the embracing of character traits
throughout all levels of government.
Highlights

Implentation
of a character development program specific to law enforcement personnel for
Town of Hamburg Police Department. The 'Police Dynamics' program is
from the International
Association of Character Cities.

Initiated character
recognition program at town board meetings praising individuals and groups
within the government sector.

Passage of resolutions
to be communities of character in the town of Hamburg and the villages of
Hamburg and Blasdell in support of the character initiative.
Our
Meetings
The
Government Committee will be meeting on the 3rd Thursday
of
each month in the Town Hall Lower Level at 11:00 a.m..
