VIRTUES   Virtues by Month Virtues Quick Links March 10 / April 10 / May 10 / June 10 / July 10 / August 10 Each month, the Board of Directors of Character Council of Hamburg selects a virtue to "highlight".  By promoting one ideal each month in schools, work and at home - the message of that quality is stronger, and more effective.  Please refer to the following list: March 2010 Tolerance vs. Prejudice Tolerance is realizing that everyone is at varying levels of character development. April 2010 Creativity vs. Underachievement Creativity is approaching a need, a task, or an idea from a new perspective. May 2010 Discretion vs. Simplemindedness Discretion is recognizing and avoiding words, actions and attitudes that could bring undesirable consequences. June 2010 Endurance vs. Discouragement Endurance is the inward strength to withstand stress and do my best.   July 2010 Meekness vs. Anger Meekness is yielding my personal rights and expectations with a desire to serve. August 2010 Security vs. Anxiety Security is structuring my life around that which cannot be destroyed or taken away.
